Overview

The global air cargo industry is forecasted to grow at a four percent per year from 2020 through to 2039. The domestic China region is expected to have the highest growth rate at 5.8 percent. They are followed by the Intra-East Asia and Oceania region with an expected growth of 4.9 percent. The Air Cargo Management course is part of the ICAO GAPP series and provides an overall and in-depth study of this steadily expanding air cargo market.

  3. Evaluate air cargo handling and processes using Process Thinking and Lean Principles in air cargo management with an emphasis on air cargo performance optimization. 
  4. Analyze Revenue Management techniques in Air Cargo and identify components of cargo Revenue Management Strategy, Overbooking Strategies and Pricing Strategies for Different Types of Cargo
  5. Appreciate Optimization techniques in air cargo operations through modelling, linear programming and case study applications.

 

Course Delivery

The course is delivered in a blended modality that uses EagleVision and Canvas to deliver the curriculum in a virtual classroom, providing a campus learning experience from anywhere.
