Dive into the dynamic world of human factors and empower yourself to elevate your brainstorming skills for effective accident and incident interventions.
Led by Dr. Scott Shappell & Dr. Douglas Wiegmann
Overview
Join us for an exhilarating two-day workshop that builds on the foundational knowledge gained in our previous HFACS/HFIX and Advanced HFACS sessions. "Innovative Interventions" dives deep into the dynamic world of human factors, empowering participants to elevate their brainstorming capabilities for accident and incident interventions. Through engaging discussions and interactive exercises, you will explore advanced tools and techniques that harness the power of human factors to create effective, actionable solutions.
Delve into critical HFACS causal categories, including expert decision-making, communication and teamwork, visual perception challenges, and the complexities of organizational culture. By examining real-world case studies, you will learn to identify potential pitfalls and leverage human factors insights to enhance safety and performance within your organization. This workshop is not just about learning; it's about transforming your approach to incident prevention!
The Mastering Human Factors Course can be completed independently, or toward the Certificate of Management in Human Factors Analysis and Classification System.
