How Do I Register for Classes? 

We offer several convenient ways to register: 

Online Registration (Fastest Method) 

  • Visit our website and browse courses and register 24/7 
  • Pay securely with any major credit card 
  • Receive immediate confirmation 

Talk to Our Team

  • We're happy to answer questions and help you register 

Visit Us in Person 

  • Stop by our office during business hours 
  • We're located at 4225 University Avenue, on CSU’s main campus. 
  • Our team can help you choose the right courses 

When Should I Register? 

We recommend registering early to secure your spot! Early registration helps us: 

  • Ensure your class has enough participants to run 
  • Order materials in time for your first class 
  • Make any needed accommodations 

Registration typically closes 3-5 business days before courses begin to allow for proper preparation. 

 

Paying for Your Courses 

What Payment Options Do I Have? 

We strive to make payment convenient and flexible: 

Standard Payment Options 

  • All major credit/debit cards 
  • Cash (in-person only) 
  • Personal or company checks 
  • Money orders 

Additional Options 

  • International wire transfers 
  • Company purchase orders 
  • Military/VA benefits for eligible courses 
  • Payment plans for qualifying courses 

Tell Me About Payment Plans 

For courses priced at $400 or more, we offer convenient payment plans to help make your education more affordable: 

How It Works 

  • Initial payment: 50% of course cost plus $40 enrollment fee 
  • Remaining balance is due on or before the first day of class 
  • Easy online payments available 

Please note: Payment plans must be approved at least 5 business days before your course begins. 

 

Making Changes to Your Registration 

What If I Need to Withdraw? 

We understand that plans change. Here's how refunds work: 

Withdrawals & Refunds:  

  • 100% refund minus $20 processing fee for all withdrawals made three (3) or more business days before the class start date. 
  • 50% refund for all withdrawals made two (2) or less business days before the class start date. 
  • No refund for all withdrawals on or after the class start date. You will receive an account credit for the full amount. Account credits are valid for 18 months and cannot be refunded. 
  • To receive a 100% refund at any time, you may choose to withdraw and receive an account credit that can be applied to any future CPE course or camp. Account credits are valid for 18 months and cannot be refunded. 

Online Course Refund Policy: 

For Online Monthly Courses:  

  • 100% refund is available prior to the first lesson release 
  • 50% refund after the first lesson release and before the second lesson release 
  • No refund for all withdrawals on or after the second lesson release. 

For Start Anytime and Self-Paced Courses:

  • You may choose to withdraw and receive an account credit that can be applied to any future CPE course or camp. Account credits are valid for 18 months and cannot be refunded. 

Can I Transfer to a Different Class? 

Yes! We're happy to help you find a better time or date: 

  • Request transfers at least 3 business days before your course 
  • Must transfer within the same fiscal year 
  • New class must have available space 

Can Someone Else Take My Place? 

Yes! If you can't attend, you can send someone in your place: 

  • Let us know at least 3 business days before the course 
  • We'll help make the switch smooth and easy 

 

During Your Course 

Attendance and Completion 

To ensure you get the most from your course: 

  • Try to attend all sessions if possible 
  • Minimum 80% attendance needed for completion 
  • Some shorter courses may require 100% attendance 
  • Courses require 80% minimum score on assessments (when applicable) 

Course Materials 

  • Course descriptions list any required materials 
  • Some courses include materials in the registration fee 
  • Additional materials may be available for purchase 
  • We'll make sure you know what you need before class starts 

What If Class Is Cancelled? 

While rare, if we need to cancel or change a course: 

  • We'll contact you right away 
  • You'll receive a full refund 
  • We'll help you find an alternative course if available 
  • Weather-related postponements will be rescheduled 

 

Additional Information 

CEU Credits 

  • Continuing Education Units (CEUs) document your learning: 
  • Earn 1 CEU for every 10 hours of instruction 
  • Requires minimum 80% attendance 
  • Certificates provided upon completion 
  • Great for professional development!

Transcripts and Certificates 

Need documentation of your coursework? 

  • Unofficial transcripts: Available at no charge 
  • Official transcripts: $10 each 
  • Replacement certificates: $15 
  • Ready within 4-7 business days
