Create your own interactive animations and games using Javascript in the Code.org Game Lab! In this guided camp, students explore the fundamentals of programming in a visual, beginner-friendly environment. Moving from basic shapes to moving sprites, you will learn how to draw with code, control characters with the keyboard and manage game physics. By the end of the week, you will design and develop a custom interactive game to share online, building a strong foundation for future computer science studies. Students with more coding experience who learn well in a text-only format can code in Python using the Carnegie Mellon CS Academy graphics package for animation and game design. Ages 10-15.

Baking meets art in this high-energy camp that features chocolate as the main star! Student chefs will whisk, melt, and decorate their way through a lineup of sweet treats. Bread is a staple food around the world and can be made in so many delicious ways. Bread's most vital ingredient - yeast - is used every day as students learn to make different braided breads every day like challah bread, cardamom bread, and sweet rolls. Mangia, mangia! The Italian Dinners youth camps takes the mystery out of homemade pasta and puts the f-u-n into making your own pizza from scratch. In addition to having fun, this camp aims to empower students in the kitchen with the confidence to be able to make their own meals from start to finish. Create your own adventure map of Central Oregon! Using beginner-friendly watercolor techniques, students will learn how to layer color and design map elements while learning to highlight trails, mountains, rivers, and favorite outdoor spots. Campers will explore creativity, practice observation skills and build confidence using watercolor and sketching tools. Each student will take home their original and framed illustrated map at the end of camp. Ages 10-15.

Step into the world of professional pastry and classic cookery in this hands-on camp focused entirely on the art of sweet and savory pies. Students will learn to craft flaky crusts and delicious fillings as they create savory quiche, rustic galettes and classic sweet pies. Join a fashion workshop this summer for 4 days of fashion exploration! Students will learn how to use a sewing machine and serger, learn about personal style, fashion silhouettes, illustration, textiles and pattern drafting with draping on a mannequin. Students can experiment with many different techniques and tools, or focus on creating their own original design. Each student will work in their own sketchbook that they will take home at the end of camp to continue developing as a portfolio. This fashion workshop provides all the equipment and supplies, and respects each unique student's learning preferences. Ages 10-15.

Explore Oregon through color, texture and imagination! In this creative collage camp, students will use pre-cut papers, patterns and layered shapes to design their own bold landscape inspired by Central Oregon's mountains, forest and skies. Campers will learn how to combine colors, build depth and arrange shapes to create a scene that feels vibrant and full of life. With hands-on guidance and room for personal style, every student will assemble a framed collage to take home. Ages 10-15.

In Taste of Italy: A Regional Cooking Adventure, young chefs travel through four iconic areas of Italy, learning to prepare signature mains, sides and a sweet regional dessert. From creamy northern pastas to coastal Mediterranean flavors, rustic countryside favorites and classic southern street foods, campers gain hands-on experience with the ingredients and techniques that make Italian cuisine beloved around the world. In this creative photography camp, students will explore the art of seeing the world through the camera they carry every day: their smartphone. Through fun photo challenges and guided lessons, students will learn the fundamentals of photography including composition, lighting, perspective and visual storytelling. Daily photo walks and creative exercises will encourage students to observe their surroundings in new ways while developing their artistic eye and confidence as photographers. Whether you want to build the next great American company, become a Wall Street tycoon or be the millionaire next door by investing wisely - this camp is for you! In this course, you will learn the basics of investing in the stock market, the difference between assets and liabilities, the importance of diversification and how to evaluate companies. You will also develop your own business plan and present your ideas to your peers to compete for their investments in a mock Shark Tank-style activity. Ages: 10-15.
