Learn the basics of quilting as we cut, piece and quilt a simple but delightful table runner. We'll cover how to use a rotary cutter, mat and ruler; auditioning fabrics for design impact; piecing with accurate quarter-inch seams; building your quilt "sandwich"; and machine quilting the layers together. Information on binding and finishing your table runner will be provided. This class is geared toward beginners who know the basics of using their sewing machines and are ready to start making cool things!
