Course Description: Foods of the World 4 Youth Camp: Australia & New Zealand
A native of Australia, Chef Dom invites culinary campers to have fun with the foods from his upbringing, while also learning about the cuisine of New Zealand. With their cultural diversity and flair for flavor, these two Southern Hemisphere countries have scrumptious food offerings. From ricotta pancakes, to sausage rolls and lamingtons, to hamburgers and buns from scratch, to sticky date pudding and anzac cookies, and beyond, students will learn how to prepare a breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert in this camp. Taught in a fun and welcoming environment by Cascade Culinary Institute Adjunct Instructor, Chef Dom Shorthouse, and Chef Instructor, Anthony Parker.
