This 5-week course introduces advanced principles and practices of Computer-Aided Design (CAD). Students learn to create and modify 3D models and assemblies by interpreting engineering drawings and sketches. Through quizzes, written tutorials, and in-class demonstrations, students build on the knowledge gained in the fundamentals course. This exam-preparation course helps students prepare to take the Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate (CSWA) exam. Vouchers for the exam are covered by Tuition.

CAD - Fundamentals of 3D Modeling (SolidWorks)This 5 week-long course introduces students to fundamental principles and practices of Computer Aided Design (CAD). Students learn to create, modify, and document 2D sketches and 3D models. Emphasis is placed on design intent and techniques that allow for cross program knowledge.
