Course Detail: W-IND-HAZ40 - OSHA HAZWOPER Training 40 Hour
HAZWOPER (Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response) is a set of OSHA standards (29 CFR 1910.120 and 29 CFR 1926.65) designed to protect workers who handle hazardous substances, clean up waste sites, or respond to chemical emergencies.
Duration: 40 Hours
Target Audience: Mandatory for workers engaged in clean-up operations or those regularly exposed to hazardous substances.
Tuition: $900
This training class meets the minimum of 40 hours instruction off site for general site workers (such as equipment operators, general laborers and supervisory personnel) engaged in hazardous substance removal or other activities which expose or potentially expose workers to hazardous substances and health hazards. See 29 CFR 1910.120(e)(3)(i) and 1926.65(e)(3)(i)
The minimum of three days actual field experience under the direct supervision of a trained, experienced supervisor is NOT provided by this class.
