Course Detail: W-IND-MANU-ADVCNC - CNC - Advanced

This 5 week-long Advanced CNC course delves into the intricacies of CNC operations, including both Mill and Lathe, with a focus on 5th Axis CNC machining. Students will build upon their foundational knowledge to master complex CNC techniques, programming, and troubleshooting.
Learning Outcomes -
At the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Develop and execute advanced CNC programs.
- Optimize toolpaths for efficiency and precision.
- Implement complex machining strategies.
- Conduct precision measurements and ensure quality control.
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines.
Certification -
Upon successful completion, students will receive a certificate of completion from the College of Eastern Idaho Workforce Training.

- Safety Glasses - We will not let you operate machines in the shop if you do not have safety glasses.
- Closed-Toe Shoes - Work boots are preferred.
- Long Pants and shirts without loose or baggy sleeves.
- Hair tied back, if applicable
- Absolutely no jewelry or baggy clothes are allowed.
