Course Detail: W-AP-PL-TEP - Apprenticeship Transcript Review - Plumbing

This open-ended course provides an opportunity for students to have their previous education records and experience from previous trade schools reviewed by CEI - Workforce Training administrators and Instructors in order to place them into the CEI Apprenticeship Program. If a student's prior educational records are deemed valid and sufficient, a formal determination regarding appropriate year placement will be made and communicated to the student. Based on this evaluation, the student may be placed into Year 1, 2, 3, or 4 of CEI's Plumbing Apprenticeship program, or awarded credit recognizing completion of all four years.
Learning Outcomes -
At the end of this course, participants will be equipped with:
Educational hours recognized by the State of Idaho
Placement into the CEI - Workforce Training's Apprenticeship Program
Certification -
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be eligible to sit for CEI - Workforce Training's Apprenticeship Program and receive accredited education hours in the State of Idaho. If the student successfully gets accredited for all 4 years or 576 hours of education, they will be able to schedule their Journeyman's Exam in Idaho through Idaho's Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing.
Target Audience
Out-of-State Apprentices that move to Idaho and would like to continue their career.
Out-of-State Journeyman that would like to be dual licensed in their state and Idaho.

Students will need to be prepared to provide the following documents
Transcripts (can be unofficial) but must have official letterhead
Program Standard from the State the student is coming from.
Syllabi/Outlines from all relevant courses
Curriculum of outgoing program
