Feel the heat and discover the wonder of molten glass! We'll introduce you to glass blowing, slumping, and molding as you craft colorful flowers, ornaments, paperweights, and more. It's truly mesmerizing!*

Maker's Weekend 2026

June 26-28 Friday, Saturday, Sunday

9am - 5pm (with an hour lunch break on your own)

Instructor: Tracey Cosgrove

Skill level: Beginners to more advanced students

Location: College for Creative Studies, Kresge Ford Building C*117

Hours: 7 hours per day, 3 days, total of 21 contact hours

$295 plus $75 material fee

All Materials provided

Housing Available in the Art Center Building for $50 per night.

Minimum number of students: 5 students

Maximum number of students: 10 students

SCECHs: 21 SCECH points pending approval

Refund policy: Students may cancel up to 5 days before the first day of the workshop to receive a full refund. Students who cancel within 4 days of first of workshop will receive a full refund minus a $50 cancellation fee. No refunds offered after the start of the first class.
