Biography: Princy Quadros Mennella, Ph.D. currently serves as the founding director of the Neuroscience program at Bay Path University. Princy has been a neuroscientist and educator for over 12 years. Prior to her position as director at Bay Path, Princy was a faculty member in the Department of Biological Sciences at Delaware State University where she taught a variety of neuroscience and related courses and supervised countless undergraduate independent research projects on brain development. At Delaware, she initiated and participated in several statewide programs to foster awareness and excitement among high school students about neuroscience, including the Delaware Brain Bee Competition (founder and organizer.)Princy has authored numerous papers that have appeared in several leading publications, including the Journal of Neuroendocrinology, Developmental Psychobiology, Developmental Neurobiology, and Endocrinology. She has given several neuroscience-related presentations to a wide variety of audiences from elementary school children to college students to parents. She always enjoys learning and discussing about all the ways in which neuroscience is being applied to other fields.
