Deb Breiting is a co-founder, owner, and intercultural trainer of Maine Intercultural Communication Consultants (MICC) and hails from Vancouver, Canada. Her parents being originally from Germany and Japan, Deb grew up in a diverse and multilingual home. She has a degree in Linguistics andGerman and is a Graduate of the University of British Columbia (UBC)Certificate Program in Intercultural Studies. Deb has over twenty years of teaching and training experience in a variety of organizational settings spanning from across the globe in Toronto, Munich, and Tokyo.  More recently, Deb taught at Portland Adult Education where she spent the last ten years working closely with foreign-born and trained professionals seeking to integrate their work skills into a new cultural work environment.
