As we face the unprecedented demands Covid-19 has placed on the healthcare system, the goal of this event is to bring FQHC providers together for a virtual educational retreat. Sessions will address the best practices for managing infectious disease within our populations, as well as addressing the clinical sequelae of social and economic trauma. Many chronic disease, mental health, and dental visits were postponed in the first months of the pandemic. Now that non-urgent is resuming, FQHC providers need tools to assess and respond to more intense patient needs. Participants will have the opportunity to reconnect with the FQHC mission to serve the underserved and gain valuable skills for advocacy in the new world of virtual communication.
