ACDA Workshop Professional workshop. Dr. Andre Thomas, clinician. Dr. Nicolas Alberto Dosman, USM lead. This course is focused on choral techniques and will cover the following topics- choral literature, choral rehearsal, and curriculum.
Dr. Nicolás Alberto Dosman is an Assistant Professor of Music-Choral Conducting and Director of Choral Studies at the University of Southern Maine (USM), School of Music.
Dr. Andre Thomas is an American composer and conductor. He recently retired as a professor of music at Florida State University and was the artistic director for the Tallahassee Community Chorus. In addition to his conducting and composition credits, Thomas is a published author, having written Way Over in Beulah Lan': Understanding and Performing the Negro Spiritual, and numerous journal articles.
