Course Detail: C_ISLANDCONFERENCE2020 - 2020 Island Teachers Conference

Contact Hrs/CEUs: 13/1.3

The goal of the Island Teacher's Conference is to provide responsive, relevant professional learning and networking opportunities that match the unique needs/interests of island, coastal and isolated rural educators.

This year's conference theme is 'Striving for Equity: Rural Educators as Courageous Leaders' and will be almost completely virtual. Conference offerings include interactive workshops, presentations, panel discussions and our key note speaker is Dr. Cat Biddle, Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership at UMaine. We hope to offer some small, in-person sessions at Mid-Coast School of Technology (where there is ample space for social distancing) if there is interest.
