Course Detail: C_BRIDGE2BELONG_COLLECTIVEHEALLING - Collective Healing Support Facilitation

A 24 hour collective healing support training focusing on preparing participants to support collective healing through peer support facilitation. This experiential learning includes understanding the effects of collective trauma and the five essentials to healing support. Through group process and practice, participants will practice reflective listening, co-facilitation and trauma-informed practices. Emotional regulation, intercultural communication and working across differences will be formed through the teaching of Personal Leadership.

At the end of training, all participants will attend an exit interview for trainer feedback. Once participants conclude the training, they will then be ready to engage in a practicum, as well as be certified as a Bridgebuilder. This will allow the participant to be part of a growing network of collective healing support.

Learning Objectives
? Participants will understand collective trauma, the five essentials to healing
support and ways to support collective healing in their milieu.
? Participants will deepen their practice of intercultural communication, trauma-
informed practices and responsivity by learning the Personal Leadership model.
? Participants will deepen community and mutual understanding
? Participants will understand and practice the community peer support model in
order to facilitate individuals and groups across differences, with respect to
supporting emotional expression, balance and promoting resilience.
