Classes by this instructor

Explore ways of seeing the environment through landscape paintings, from ancient times to the Dutch countryside to the American frontier to Cezanne. Then examine how we see ourselves through the Venus de Milo, figures in the Sistine Chapel and the Jaume Plensa sculpture outside the Tampa Museum of Art. Finally, we will consider Picasso's work from schoolboy sketches to Guernica, his cry against the Spanish Civil War.
