T&L 2900: WFHS Teaching on the Block Part 2

The purpose of this course is to prepare educators in the planning and implementation of course structures and content in a 90-minute block class period. Participants will reflect upon their current practices, explore engagement, feedback, and reflection strategies to incorporate into their classrooms, as well as actively practice creating semester and unit overviews and crafting lessons for a block period. All participants will leave with concrete new or revised: syllabi, semester outlines, unit plan, and 2 lesson plans. A choice board will be utilized to allow participants to demonstrate their learning in a manner which suits their interests and needs.
