T&L 2900: Professional Learning Through Collaborative Inquiry
Participants will form an inquiry community to support each other as they engage in collaborative inquiry to navigate a difficult topic/issue/problem of practice they identify in their context or curriculum while utilizing strengths-based perspectives on rural schools and communities.
The program invites participants to engage in an inquiry process facilitated by UND personnel. Through this experience, educators will work together to:
- Identify difficult topics/issues in their teaching or practice
- Generate compelling questions about the topics/issues they identify
- Read and discuss strengths-based and locally relevant perspectives on rural communities
- Collect and analyze data from multiple perspectives
- Draw initial insights to take informed action
- Share their findings with colleagues and school community
