T&L 2900: Modern Classrooms

For the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 school year in West Fargo Public Schools, the focus area will be Assessment and Feedback. Implementing a Modern Classrooms model, which leverages elements of a flipped classroom and incorporates intentional mastery checks allows for educators to have ample time to conference with students to support their individual learning journeys. Through this course, educators will begin creating their own instructional videos to utilize in the classroom, design a note-taking strategy, leverage one on one, small group, and whole group instruction, embed intentional practice and mastery checks, develop a progress monitoring routine, and reflect on motivational practices.

Cancellation Policy

If UND receives the Course Withdrawal Form 7 or more calendar days before the learning event start date, the fee paid to UND Professional Development for Educators minus a $35 processing fee will be refunded. If the fee paid to UND is less than $100 the processing fee will be waived. NO REFUNDS are available if a withdrawal notification is received 6 or less calendar days before the learning event start date.
