T&L 2900: Instructional Rounds

In this course, a collaborative environment will be fostered where educators serve as both the learners and instructors; educators will have the opportunity to identify an area they hope to grow as well as identify an area in which they excel. Educators will select a strategy in which they would like to grow; they will conduct research focusing on the strategy before observing it implemented in a colleague's classroom. To leverage the strengths and knowledge of our faculty, educators will open up their classrooms as instructional rounds take place to promote a collaborative culture on our campus and share their own teaching strategies that have promoted increased student learning and achievement. Finally, educators will dive into self-reflective practices as they leverage the art of recording their own lessons.
