T&L 2900: Room 212 (Book Study)

This is an in-depth book study of Room 212 by Brad Johnson, offering educators an opportunity to critically examine the relational, ethical, and practical dimensions of teaching. Through a structured and reflective approach, participants will engage with all 26 chapters of the text, exploring themes such as teacher-student relationships, professional identity, classroom culture, and the moral responsibilities of educators.  For every chapter, students will respond to two reflection questions that encourage personal connection, critical thinking, and application to their own educational contexts.  In addition, they will complete two writing prompts designed to deepen their analysis, challenge assumptions, and connect the book's ideas to current research and practice in education.  Ultimately, this book, Room 212, is a catalyst for ongoing professional reflection and transformation.
