EDL 2900: BHS Self-Paced Professional Learning Pilot - Summer 2026
At BHS, we work to foster Collective Teacher Efficacy (CTE) to improve student literacy and achievement. Collective Teacher Efficacy is educators' shared belief that through their combined efforts they can positively influence student outcomes, including outcomes for those who are disengaged, unmotivated, and/or disadvantaged. In accordance with our CTE Equation, this learning opportunity will not only have systems in place to build CTE by implementation of our BHS Instructional Framework, but also allow teachers to dive deeper into intentional and rigorous implementation of the Reading Strategies element of BHS's Instructional Framework via online learning modules and the implementation of that learning. Throughout this learning experience, participating educators will be piloting a new method of professional learning, with self-paced learning modules.
