This course will focus on Mental Health Issues for Death Investigators. The training will enable you to recognize and appropriately respond to mental health problems and crises that you are likely to encounter during the course of your work. Being trained in this area enables you to aid those in need and ultimately direct them to the appropriate mental health care treatment they require.

  • Understand and employ the basic concepts of mental health issues encountered by death investigators.
  • Recognize several mental health problems and crises.
  • Respond appropriately to these mental health challenges.
  • Direct people to appropriate long-term professional help where it is needed.
