To continue to build on the imperative work taking place within the PLC process, it is important for educators to engage with practices that create extensive opportunities to continually conduct formative assessments. This course will focus on embedding those formative assessments throughout the learning process as well as designing intentional steps to respond to student misunderstandings and grow additional exploration opportunities for students showing mastery in a standard. Educators will utilize Meet Every Learner's Needs to springboard their thinking to redesign their current lessons into the Modern Classrooms model.
