EDL 2900: BHS Book Study 2025-26 The Anxious Generation

This professional development course focuses on equipping high school educators with an understanding of the growing mental health crisis among today's youth, as described in Jonathan Haidt's The Anxious Generation. Through collaborative discussions, reflections, and practical applications, educators will learn about the societal, technological, and psychological factors contributing to heightened anxiety and depression in adolescents. Participants will develop strategies to create supportive and effective learning environments that promote emotional and mental well-being.

Cancellation Policy

If UND receives the Course Withdrawal Form 7 or more calendar days before the learning event start date, the fee paid to UND Professional Development for Educators minus a $35 processing fee will be refunded. If the fee paid to UND is less than $100 the processing fee will be waived. NO REFUNDS are available if a withdrawal notification is received 6 or less calendar days before the learning event start date.
