made in Alabama? Join us for a fascinating tour and
see firsthand how these iconic barrels are crafted.
Explore the barrel-making process, learn how the
wood influences the flavor of whiskey and watch
skilled coopers assemble the barrels. Discover the
legal requirements for bourbon barrels - including
the specific type of wood used and how many times
a barrel can be reused. Because of its unique role in
aging spirits, the whiskey barrel has even been called
a "breathing time machine."
