Asbestos Operation & Maintenance

Asbestos Operations and Maintenance (O&M) training is designed for personnel who work in environments where asbestos-containing materials (ACM) may be present and could potentially be disturbed during routine maintenance or emergency repairs. This training, often called Class III or Operations and Maintenance (O&M) training, ensures workers understand how to safely manage ACM and minimize exposure risks.

Biography: Judith A. Pike is the Senior Project Engineer for Highland Technical Services, Inc. in Hoover, Alabama and is Adjunct Faculty at the University of Alabama in Continuing Studies Environmental & IndustrialPrograms. Judith's specialty areas include asbestos, lead based paint and microbial investigations, project management and abatement design, groundwater investigation, hazardous waste management, RCRA investigations, remedial systems design and implementation. She has experience in conducting Phase I, II & III Environmental Site Assessments, Property Condition Assessments, erosion control and above ground/underground storage tank management. Previous employment was with such companies as TUV RheinlandIndustrial Solutions, Inc. - Unified Testing Services, The Environmental League, LLC, W. W. Williams Environmental, Bhate Environmental, Inc. and K. B. Weygand & Associates. Judith received her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
