No image available Biography: Dennis Keplinger has been the Safety & Occupational Health Specialist/Manager for the Department of Army for over 19 years. He is currently serving as Chief, Training/Policy & Programs Division, U. S. ArmySafety Center, in Fort Rucker, Alabama. Dennis is responsible for developing safety training and policy for Army-wide implementation. He is responsible for directing the design and development of traditionalinstructor presented safety training and interactive computer-based training for distance learning. Mr. Keplinger has supervised the development of Army safety policy, regulations, and accident prevention programs. He has served in various safety professional positions at the Safety Center since 1991. Dennismanaged the Army Safety and OH Intern training program from 1991 - 1996.Prior to his assignment to the U. S. Army Safety Center, he was the Safety and OH Manager, U. S. Army HQ V Corps, in Frankfurt, Germany from1987 - 1991; Safety and OH Specialist, Aviation Center, Fort Rucker, Alabama, 1984 - 1987; and Safety and OH Specialist, Armor Center, FortKnox, Kentucky, 1981-1984. Dennis has been a training course instructor for OSHA 501, General Industry 10-Hour and 30-Hour OSHA. He is a Certified Safety Professional and is a member of the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. Mr. Keplinger is presently the President of the Wiregrass Chapter, American Society of Safety Engineers in Dothan, Alabama.
