Course Detail: BREATHING - 155 Breathing for Health and Wellness

Discover how proper breathing can improve overall health, wellness, movement, and recovery. In this four-week discussion-based class, participants will learn practical breathing techniques and gain a better understanding of the role breathing plays in everyday life. 

Week 1: Objectives/Breathing: Understanding and using breathing for health and wellness; course expectations. Learn what constitutes a full, effective breath.
Week 2: Physiology: Explore the many physiological factors that influence breathing and health.
Week 3: Implementation: Apply breathing techniques to exercise and daily routines, with discussion of timing, injury prevention, progress, and evaluation.
