Informer 5 - Designing Queries

In this course, participants learn how to design queries, including adding fields, criteria, and flow steps to create a Dataset or Ad hoc Query. Participants learn how to create Jobs to refresh Datasets and share content. This class is strictly for creating queries (Datasets and Ad hoc Queries). We will not be configuring visuals or reports.

Audience: Users who have access to creating Datasets and Ad-hoc Queries. These users should be familiar with the mappings and fields in the Datasource and have the role of Data Designer or above. All attendees will be given access to the sandbox to follow along and take part in the interactive exercises. The times for these classes are set for Eastern Standard Time (EST). This is a 4-hour class.

Informer 5 - Query Performance & Scheduling

Discover methods to optimize Informer by choosing the best type of Query for a given use case, understanding the performance difference between Criteria and Filters, and pulling only the rows that have changed instead of a Datasource's entire historical record count. The times for these classes are set for Eastern Standard Time (EST). This is a 2-hour class.

Informer 5 - Introduction to Templates

In this course, participants learn the basics of formatting data from Queries in Informer's Templates. Participants will use the WYSIWYG editor and data from a pre-built Dataset and a pre-built Ad-hoc Query to build customized documents with minimal coding.Audience: Users who have access to creating Templates. These users should be familiar with the mappings and fields in the Datasource and have the role of Designer or above. All attendees will be given access to the sandbox to follow along and take part in the interactive exercises. The times for these classes are set for Eastern Standard Time (EST). This is a 2-hour class.
