Introduction to TCM diagnostic methods of inspection, auscultation, inquiry, and palpation (including pulse diagnosis).
Chiropractic Acupuncture Hybrid Certificate #2: Online learning(access through Moodle Platform) 6 Hours.
Theory of Musculoskeletal needling, biomedical acupuncture and dry needling will be discussed. Point categories and their usage (Mu, Shu, antique points, command) are discussed in relationship to musculoskeletal disorders. The difference of trigger point dry needling and how to access the motor point will be introduced to highlight the treatment differences in this course.
Description of tongue characteristics and its topography visualized through case studies. Discussion of diagnostic criteria according to eight principals and with effective use of tongue diagnosis in a clinical setting.
Description and discussion of antique points location, characteristics and usage discussed with their pathways, guest host technique, command points, Back Shu, Front Mu, Luo connecting points and Ghost points. Eight Principal Diagnosis and factors of disease including - internal, miscellaneous causes of disease. Imbalances in nature and the change of seasons and the influences that they have on the human body.
The theory and usage of the Eight Extraordinary Meridians, including discussion of their pathways, master / couple theory and their uses based on TCM diagnosis and western pathological signs and symptoms.
Chiropractic Acupuncture Hybrid Certificate #3: Online learning (access through Moodle Platform) 6 Hours.
History, uses and safety standards for moxibustion (direct and indirect). History of auriculotherapy, diagnosis, with an introduction to the three phases and how they relate to the three basic tissue layers. Auricular point location will be introduced in conjunction with needling techniques, application of pressure beads / tacks and electrical instrumentation. Treatment protocols and point formulas for acute and chronic health problems. Moxibustion both direct and in direct treatment protocols will be given for acute and chronic health problems.

Review of basic acupuncture theory, 12 main meridians, eight extraordinary meridians. Review of NBCE.
