Course Detail: EARLY.CHILDHOOD.ESSENTIALS - Early Childhood Essentials

This 6-week course provides a comprehensive introduction to child development and explores the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive needs of children at various stages of growth. Participants will gain valuable insight into how children learn, communicate, behave, and develop, while building practical skills that can be applied in both personal and professional childcare settings.Throughout the course, students will learn age-appropriate care techniques, positive guidance strategies, communication methods, and ways to support healthy child development in safe and nurturing environments. The class is ideal for parents, caregivers, aspiring childcare professionals, educators, and anyone interested in working with or caring for children.Interactive discussions and real-world examples will help participants better understand child behavior, developmental milestones, and the importance of creating supportive learning and care experiences for children of all ages.Students who successfully complete the 6-week course will receive a micro-credential verifying course completion and foundational knowledge in child development and childcare practices.
