Course Detail: PHLEB - Phlebotomy

This course consist of lecture and lab that provides knowledge of equipment, OSHA's blood-borne pathogens and mechanics involved in the collection of specimens. Practice and learn how to do all areas of puncture safely and properly. Study complications in phlebotomy and special collection procedures. After completing all aspects of the Phlebotomy course, and meeting the required criteria, you may be eligible for a day-time internship. Information on the internship is provided the first day of the phlebotomy course. "For this course, all students are required to purchase a book during the enrollment process."

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations and refunds must be requested a minimum of three business days prior to the first meeting of the course to qualify for a full refund. Refunds requested less than three business days before a course begins will be subject to a $10 processing fee. No refunds will be issued after the second course meeting. No refunds will be given for books, supplies, or any other non-tuition items. Refunds cannot be issued for non-attendance.
