Designed for young people to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care to infants and children in a residential setting. Learn about basic childcare and basic first aid. Participants receive a certificate of completion for Babysitter's Training Participants receive a two-year certification for Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED. An adult must be present the entire length of the training. A unique email is required for each student on the course record. This email must be different from other students in the class. Due to the physically demanding nature of CPR, participants should ideally weigh 85-90 pounds; participants who are unable to complete the requirements of CPR will not receive a Babysitter Training certification. Students should bring a lunch and may bring snacks for the breaks; there are vending machines on site.
