Course Detail: ADULT.MENTALHEALTH.FIRSTAID -  Adult Mental Health First Aid

Adult Mental Health First Aid teaches participants how to recognize, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges in adults. The course covers common symptoms of mental health conditions and substance use issues, helping participants identify when someone may be struggling. It also provides practical guidance on how to approach and support a person who may be experiencing a mental health crisis, including effective ways to communicate and offer assistance. Participants learn how to connect individuals with appropriate professional help and community resources. In addition, the training includes expanded information on trauma, substance use, and the importance of self-care for those providing support.
