Course Detail: BMA.AI - AI for Executives

AI for Executives is an intensive, instructor-led program offered by Metro Tech, in collaboration with General Genomics, Inc., designed to equip organizational leaders with the insight and practical experience needed to confidently lead artificial intelligence (AI) adoption.

This two-day executive workshop is tailored for senior leaders, directors, supervisors, and managers across federal and state government, private industry, higher education, and nonprofit organizations. Participants gain a strategic, leadership-level understanding of AI technologies, particularly Generative Pre-trained Transformers (GPTs) and large language models (LLMs), and how they can be responsibly and effectively applied to real-world organizational challenges.

Course Overview:

Through a blend of expert instruction, live demonstrations, hands-on exercises, and applied case studies, participants will explore how AI is reshaping the future of work and decision-making. The course emphasizes both practical application and executive-level strategy, preparing leaders to evaluate opportunities, manage risk, and guide cultural adoption of AI within their organizations.

Participants should bring a laptop, tablet, or smartphone capable of downloading applications. If using a company or government-issued device, confirm permissions with your IT department in advance.

  • USAF Participants: Bring government-issued laptops or tablets with Common Access Card (CAC), if applicable

GPT App Installation:

This course includes hands-on AI exercises. Prior to the first day, please download at least one of the following:

  • ChatGPT (recommended: paid subscription with access to advanced models such as 4o or 4)
  • Government-issued [unclassified] GPT, if applicable
