Phlebotomy

This course consist of lecture and lab that provides knowledge of equipment, OSHA's blood-borne pathogens and mechanics involved in the collection of specimens. Practice and learn how to do all areas of puncture safely and properly. Study complications in phlebotomy and special collection procedures. Practice and learn specimen processing. "For this course, all students are required to purchase a book during the enrollment process."

Phlebotomy with Internship Training Component

This Phlebotomy course provides in class lectures, hands on lab training and internship at a designate site. Upon completion of 80% student transition to internship program.
