Course Detail: MONEY.SMART - Money Smart Basics for Young Adults
BancFirst and Metro Tech in partnership are offering a financial literacy course using the FDIC Money Smart for Young Adults Curriculum, focused on Budget, Savings, Credit and Life. Money Smart for Young Adults covers banking, budgeting, credit, loans, and major life decisions such as renting, buying a car, and paying for college. Completion of the training sessions will earn students a micro-credential in "Money Smart Basics for Young Adults."Money Smart Basics for Young Adults is intended for students ages 16-24.Completion of all 8 classes will earn a micro-credential (badge) in "Money Smart Basics for Young Adults" consisting of four short courses: Budget Smart, Savings Smart, Credit Smart, and Life Smart. These 8 classes present a condensed version of the FDIC Money Smart for Young Adults curriculum.Training sessions are roughly 2.5 hours for 8 classes.
