Course Detail: CNA.ORT - Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Orientation

CNA Orientation is required for ALL CNA students, regardless of whether they are self-pay or sponsored by another organization. Please review the CNA course description or call 595-4794 for more information.10 am Orientations are for day classes, and 5:00 pm Orientations are for evening classes. The CNA class will be open after the finish of the orientation. REQUIREMENT: Please bring to orientation: government-issued photo ID, proof of Social Security number, OSBI name-based background check with sexual and violent offender within the last three months, negative TB skin test (last six months), flu shot (in season) immunization record-MMR, Measles and Mumps vaccines or a positive Mumps and Measles Titer, DTAP. Written Verification of Varicella History, Varicella Vaccination or varicella Titer by a Physician's Designee, completed medical release form, and AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers card. All permanent residents must submit evidence of their permanent resident card. PREREQUISITE: Current American Heart Association BLS (CPR) certification. CNA Daytime classes will start on 07/13-08/13 and 10/12-11/10. CNA Evening classes will start on 07/13-09/14 and 10/05-12/09. Enrollment for the CNA classes will not open until the day after the orientation.
