Ashley Brauer
Biography: After earning Bachelor of Arts degrees in broadcast news and psychology from Western Kentucky University, Brauer went on to work as a news producer for nearly a decade. In these roles, she was responsible for story and content selection, conceptualized presentation, wrote copy, and oversaw live execution. Her favorite assignments included Presidential Primary Debate specials, Final Four sports specials, and countless hours of live Kentucky Derby and Derby-related coverage. She won many awards for her efforts. 

Brauer earned her Master of Business Administration from the University of Louisville. In addition, she completed certificates in speechwriting and digital communications. Brauer is a member of the Rotary Club of Louisville and was named Rotarian of the Year for 2022-2023. 

She currently serves chair of the Speaker Committee and Rotary Leadership Fellows Committee. Brauer has previously served as a Board Director (2021-2023), as well as chair of the Emerging Leaders and Public Image committees. She is also a member of the 2024 Leadership Kentucky Class, the Public Relations Society of America - Bluegrass Chapter and the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels. Brauer is a published author and photographer.
