Course: Franchise Management: Buy and Grow a Franchise

Gain exposure to the financial terms and considerations for becoming a franchisee and growing operations. Topics covered include evaluating funding sources, preparing financial statements, understanding unit economics and cash flow, tracking financials and developing a business plan.
- Describe the various requirements that franchisors look at when evaluating a potential franchisee.
- Explain both financial and non-financial requirements and relate these same requirements from the candidate's point-of-view.
- Contrast and compare various options for funding a single franchise unit or expanding the number of units.
- Explain and evaluate specific items in an FDD, focus on 6, 7, & 19.
- Analyze the Franchisor financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement) and describe the financial health or weakness of the Franchisor based on your analysis.
