Course: Navigating Leadership Now: Thrive in a Shifting Landscape

The University of Louisville's premiere Leadership Conference. Join a panel of top leadership experts from across the University. This TED Conference inspired day of learning and dialogue will provide an opportunity for you to grapple with the leadership lessons learned amid the upheaval caused by the COVID-19 Pandemic while networking with current and aspiring business leaders from across the city.

Overview
Organizational leaders experienced unprecedented disruption and turmoil in the Spring of 2020 with the onset of COVID-19. Two years later, new business norms have emerged, albeit shaded with continuous uncertainty in the face of looming future disruptions.

Leadership experts have begun referring to the last two years as a "once-in-a-generation" period of upheaval, in which some long-standing management best-practices have radically shifted, while others were forever discarded. Amidst these changes, lessons have also emerged surrounding key leadership principles such as compassion, resilience, and inclusivity among others that perpetually yield positive outcomes. Such principles offer managerial stability within otherwise turbulent work conditions. Implementing leadership principles into real and actionable strategies looks different in 2022, but doing so successfully is an inescapable necessity for leaders seeking to thrive in the new normal.
