Lean Six Sigma Practical Application

This course trains participants in proven business process improvement problem solving methodologies (Lean Six Sigma). Participants deepen their knowledge of problem solving and are introduced to process analysis. Participants learn how to start and finish a process improvement project using a practical toolkit. Problem solving is structured, data-driven, customer focused and based on teamwork. Participants will be exposed to additional proven methodologies which accelerate problem solving. Those methodologies include key elements of change management, project management and internal consulting. 

You will be more confident in your ability to solve business problems. You will understand how to analyze and improve a process. You will understand how to document a process and use the eight forms of waste to make a process better. You will also be exposed to a lifetime of learning about solving more complex business problems. 

This course is taught by experienced and passionate practitioners of problem-solving methodologies. The participants will learn practical tools and be exposed to management concepts which can be applied immediately. The course also leverages best practices from change management, project management and internal management consulting.

 At the end of this course, you will be able to: 

  • Understand how to capture the voice of the customer
  • Understand how to start and finish a process improvement project
  • Understand how to create a process flowchart
  • Understand how to identify waste in a process
  • Understand how to create action plans which make processes better
