Course Detail: GWGWCP - Grant Writing Certificate Program

These are difficult times for all of us. In recognition of the COVID-19 crisis, we are offering this program in synchronous online format. You will meet online in the mornings, from 9:00 AM-NOON in a virtual instructor-led classroom that will simulate the face-to-face classroom experience, including the ability to see and speak to your instructor and collaborate with fellow participants. There will be assignments to work on on your own in the afternoon, and the instructor will be available via chat and email to answer questions. If you are concerned about the compatibility of your device with the online format, please reach out to us at and we can test your ability to access the classroom environment. We are also offering a 20% discount on this session of Grant Writing Certificate Program, scheduled July 8 - July 10, 2020.

Through this intensive, hands-on certificate program, you will walk away with the knowledge and skills of how to develop a competitive grant proposal.

Over three days you will draft all sections of a grant proposal, including a needs statement, goal/case statement, objectives, project description, logic model, program evaluation, budget and budget justification. You will also learn tools and techniques that will set your grant proposal apart.

This program is ideal for the beginner or intermediate grants professional working in education or a grant-ready nonprofit organization. The program will help grant-seeking become less intimidating.
