Course: Introduction to Entomology I: Morphology, Classification, and Identification

This course covers the basics of insect morphology, classification, and identification. It focuses on the morphological features used to classify arthropods, morphology related to the identification of insect Orders (including their life cycles and feeding), and the identification of common insects in Kansas, with an emphasis on those that affect plant and animal health.

Introduction to Entomology I: Morphology, Classification, and Identification introduces you to content through modules. Content requires approximately 15 to 20 hours to complete. Learning assessment will be conducted through learning activities. To successfully complete the microcredential and earn a digital badge, you must achieve a minimum passing score of 80%.
