Event: Core Skills and Strategies

**This noncredit course is not available for academic credit.**

This course presents communication theories and interpersonal skills relevant to conflict resolution, including the understanding of, analysis of, and management of conflict.  Completion of the course meets the Kansas Office of Dispute Resolution's training requirements for state approval in core mediation [K.S.A. 5-501 and Rule 902(e)].

Continuing education hours are available for an additional fee. It remains the responsibility of the participant to ensure Kansas State University continuing education hours will be accepted by their licensing body.

Once your registration has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions for accessing your course.

Refund/Cancellation Policy:

If you must cancel your registration, please do so by 06/02/23 to receive a refund less a $25.00 cancellation fee. To cancel your registration, please send a written request to registration@k-state.edu with the program name in the subject line. Registered participants who do not cancel their registration by the refund deadline are responsible for registration fees even if they do not participate.

Kansas State University may cancel or postpone this program because of insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. If the program is canceled, registration fees will be refunded. Fees will not be refunded if the program is held but the registrant is unable to participate and has not requested a refund by the cancellation deadline.
