Kansas State University and the College of Business Administration offer a two-day introductory Yellow Belt course as the foundation program of Lean Six Sigma and its methodologies. The main goal of the Yellow Belt course is to learn how Lean Six Sigma can be used by individuals and teams to improve customer satisfaction, reduce errors, increase efficiencies and work more effectively to solve problems.

Learning Outcomes

  • Learn the history and background of Lean Six Sigma
  • Participate in Lean Six Sigma projects that deliver meaningful results
  • Master several key Lean Six Sigma tools
  • Understand the DMAIC problem methodology
  • Establish process improvements in your work areas
  • Understand the importance of "soft skills" in an LSS project

Refund/Cancellation Policy:

If you must cancel your registration, please do so by 05/05/25 to receive a refund less a $25.00 cancellation fee. To cancel your registration, please send a written request to registration@k-state.edu with the program name in the subject line. Registered participants who do not cancel their registration by the refund deadline are responsible for registration fees even if they do not participate.

Kansas State University may cancel or postpone this program because of insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. If the program is canceled, registration fees will be refunded. Fees will not be refunded if the program is held but the registrant is unable to participate and has not requested a refund by the cancellation deadline.
