Course: Applied Learning Workshop - Community Engaged Learning

This workshop helps faculty design a community-engaged Applied Learning Experience through five two-hour, in-person sessions. Participants will gain the knowledge and skills needed to create a course that incorporates meaningful community partnerships, critical reflection, and Applied Learning principles.

Participants will gain a fundamental understanding of approaches to effective community-engaged teaching and learning. Attendees can expect to learn more about Applied Learning Experiences, community-engaged learning, critical reflection, and strategies for building and sustaining authentic community partnerships. Faculty participants will walk away with the knowledge and skills necessary to build an Applied Learning Experiences course centered around community-engaged learning.
